It was a joy to witness and be a part of Katharine & James wedding planning journey.

A lovely morning ceremony filled with love, laughter and lots of cheering at Burnham Grove Estate between Katharine & James who shared a love for their 7 cats; dog, Curly, their family and each other.

The ceremony was witnessed by their closest friends and family and a special appearance by their beautiful Pomeranian, Curly who was their ring bearer.

Katharine & James' Wedding Planning Journey

Katharine contacted me to be her celebrant as she had seen me work my magic at her friend's ceremony (shout out to Quyen & David). Both her and James really wished for Curly, their Pomerian to be a part of their special and wanted a celebrant who was comfortable to include Curly into the ceremony and saw that I was able to seamlessly include Quyen & David's family dog, Loki as their ring bearer.

So we met for coffee on Saturday morning in Canley heights - where after learning that we all share a love for cats (especially rescue cats); comparing our dogs and their resemblance (they are both Pomeranians); I was sold. Of course I had to be a part of this process to make the day super special for these two beautiful, kind wonderful human beings who had a love for those who couldn't speak for themselves.

We lodged the NOIM on that day, with more than one month notice; giving us plenty of time to work on components to personalise the ceremony. James & Katharine were both given homework- a questionnaire to fill out and send it back to me so that I would have the information to curate a super personal story and vibe for them.

We also took into account and planned for who would look after Curly on the day while the other components of the ceremony were happening; what would they be doing; what would be our wet weather plans; shades for their guests and hydration.

I also got Katharine to go through her RSVPS and make her attendees into groups and send a list so that I can call out each group progressively so that our wonderful photographers from Zee&Cee Photography can focus on taking the best photos in a timely manner.
